1. Use of the site

Please use this site lawfully and in line with these terms. Do not try to disrupt the site, reach systems or data that are not yours to reach, or harvest its content automatically.

Westbridge Clinical Studies sponsors and runs clinical studies in the United States. This website is an information and recruitment resource for those studies. It does not provide medical care and it does not sell anything. You must be 18 or over to submit information through it, and only about yourself.

2. No medical advice

Nothing on this site is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a recommendation that you take part in any study. The descriptions of conditions and studies are general information written for a lay reader.

Whether a study is appropriate for you is a decision for you and a qualified healthcare professional who knows your history. Taking part in a clinical study is always voluntary, and you may leave one at any time without giving a reason and without affecting your regular care.

For urgent symptoms, call 911 or go straight to an emergency department. Do not use this site, or our text messages, to report a medical problem.

3. Accounts and security

This site has no accounts and no logins. You never register, and there is no password to look after.

The trial finder runs a search against published study criteria. It does not create a record for you and you do not need to identify yourself to use it.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, graphics, logos, images and code — is owned by Westbridge Clinical Studies or its licensors and protected by intellectual property law.

You may read, print and share pages for your own use. Commercial copying, editing or redistribution needs our written permission first.

5. User content

This site does not accept reviews, comments, uploads or public postings, so there is no user content and no licence for us to ask for.

The only things you submit are the details in the study alerts form, and those are governed by our Privacy policy and SMS terms, not by this section.

6. SMS text messaging

Program description

By submitting your mobile number and ticking the text-message box, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Westbridge Clinical Studies, sent using an automatic telephone dialing system, about studies opening in the areas you chose and news about our research programs.

How users opt in

Users opt in on our study alerts page or the sign-up panel on the home page, by ticking the text-message box and submitting their own mobile number. Numbers from any other source are never added.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies; you should expect no more than 4 messages per month. Consent is not a condition of purchase or service, or of applying to or taking part in any study.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Any charges come from your carrier, under your own mobile plan. Westbridge Clinical Studies charges nothing for this program.

Opting out

To stop receiving messages at any time, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages.

Information gathered in the SMS program is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. The SMS terms set out the rest.

7. Study listings and availability

We aim to keep the site available without interruption, but we reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.

Studies open and close, and eligibility criteria are amended during a study’s life. We do not warrant that a listing is complete or current at any given moment, that a study named here is still enrolling, or that you will be found eligible for one. Eligibility is determined by the investigator at a study site, never by this website.

8. Analytics and tracking

The only cookies we set are the ones the site needs to run and to tally visits in aggregate. No advertising cookies, and no outside trackers that follow you around the web.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Westbridge Clinical Studies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, this site.

These terms do not restrict any liability the law does not allow us to restrict, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing here affects any right you have under the informed consent form for a study you actually join; that document governs your participation, not this one.
